Turkmenbashi International Seaport located on the east coast of the Caspian Sea and in the western part of Turkmenistan, it serves as a pivotal hub for various goods and vessels, contributing to the economic development and prosperity of the country and the region. Port was designed and built in accordance with the international standards “Green Port” and is the only one of its kind within the entire Caspian region. The port provides high-quality services for loading and unloading, as well as storage of goods.

     Port stands as a key maritime gateway at the crossroads of Central Asia, thus historically Port called as “Seagate to Central Asia”, offering strategic connectivity for trade and commerce between Europe and Asia connecting Central Asia and Europe by sea, road and rail, which in turn serves as the largest transit hub in the region.

     Port is the modern and largest sea port among the Caspian ports. The total area of the port is more than 150 hectares. The annual total capacity is 17 million tons of cargo including 300 thousand passengers, 75 thousand trucks, 400 thousand TEU containers, 3 million tons of bulk and 4 million tons of general cargo without petroleum products. The port includes Ferry and passenger terminal, Container terminal, General Cargo Terminal, Bulk cargo terminal and Polypropylene terminal.

     Our commitment extends beyond the seaport’s boundaries, integrating with the broader infrastructure for land transport.

     Well-developed road and rail networks ensure that cargo efficiently reaches its destination, emphasizing both effectiveness and sustainability in the logistics chain. In addition to berthing facilities, numerous coastal infrastructure facilities have been built in the port, including transport facilities: roads with overpasses with a total length of almost    4 000 meters and about 30 000 meters of railway tracks.
